This is a space for me to share what I’ve learned regarding the patterns, principals, and methods of analytics across the domains of nature, business, technology, and anything else that interests me. Much of this will be career-related and applicable to the business world, like data science and the Internet of Things (IoT). However, like the title of the blog, “Life is Data”, it will explore how everything we see, hear, feel, discover, and touch can be interpreted through the lens of information.
The above photo is a murmuration of birds known as starlings. This is a very good example of something that interests me. Individual units adhering to simple rules create form, pattern, and organization. Emergence, complexity, system theory, and network effects are models describing actions in biology, cosmology, technology, and sociology.
